Bilingual in both Spanish and English, Gabriel Porras is a Mexican voice actor living in London. The BBC recruited him in Mexico to work in London as a journalist, producer and presenter for BBC World. He is one of London’s most successful and respected International voice artists.
In Spanish, he has won the Lavat Award (highest Spanish-language accolade) for Best Narrator, Best Brand and Best Website and nominations for Best Commercial and Best Commercial Demo, as well as the SOVAS Award for Outstanding Spoken Word.
In English, he has won SOVAS awards (highest English-language accolade) for Best Audiobook (Humour) and Outstanding Storytelling, and nominations at the OneVoice Awards for Best Animation, Best Audiobook (Fiction) and Best International Performance.
