Danyl Johnson rose to fame 14 years ago on The X Factor with his famous audition of “A Little Help from my Friends”. Reaching the semi-final, the audition went on to reach over 50 million views on YouTube.
Since 2009, Danyl has embarked on a varied and fulfilling career, ranging from Eurovision, appearing in ITV’s Benidorm, and probably his longest venture, being the main face of The Postcode Lottery alongside names such as Jeff Brazier and Matt Johnson. It is in this role that he has been able to expand his talent as a presenter, and more than anything make people’s dreams come true.
Prior to The X Factor, Danyl worked as a teacher and despite not going back to this, he works very closely with schools in the Reading area and many different charities. Danyl’s passion is giving back, especially within his beloved town of Reading.
